The Wilbinga National Park proposal is a community-driven initiative developed through the collaborative efforts of Western Australian residents, local environmental organisations and community groups with a long-standing affiliation with this distinctive coastal area. Guided by the Friends of Moore River and supported by local Landcare groups, Traditional Owners and volunteers, the proposal embodies a shared commitment to safeguarding Wilbinga’s natural, cultural and recreational assets, for current and future generations.
